Peace Builders Inc. sends large shipments of aid to orphanages in war-torn countries and to disaster-stricken areas. Peace Builders has sent over $10 million dollars in aid over the last 5 years inlcuding medical aid, clothing, shoes, toys, tents, school supplies, and other much needed aid to children in crisis. These shipments have gone to orphanages and hospitals and other relief organizations in Tsunami stricken American Samoa, South East Asia, Hurricane Katrina victims, orphanages in Africa, Afghanistan, Tibet, Sierra Leone, Baghdad, Mongolia, Pakistan, Guatemala, India. Federal Express, YRC Transport, Hyundai Merchant Marine and Maersk Sealand have donated shipping for this effort. Corporations such as Gymboree, Sutter Health, California Pacific Medial Group have donated relief goods. Peace Builders Inc. also teaches children peaceful resolution to conflicts and greater understanding for each other regardless of differences in race, religion and ethnic background. This is done through contemporary media: films, books and websites. Peace Builders Inc. encourages kids to be compassionate, to reach out, and help children in need. We believe that young people are the hope of a more peaceful world. Diane Eskenazi founded Peace Builders in 2003. Ms. Eskenazi is also an award-winning Director and Producer of over 80 children's films for studios such as Sony, Columbia Tristar, and Warner. |
